I climbed out of my shell to lie on the beach.
The sun warmed my tender skin.
Then I began to sweat.
I looked aroung for relief
But the tide had taken away the water and my shell.
Panicked I rose but the sun pained me.
I ran toward the water but fell of blistered feet.
Crying out to no answer
I looked for one.
Then as I faltered I saw a shell,
A new shell, much bigger, much darker, much deeper.
I climberd inside and vowed not to get burned again.
Hermit crabs shouldn't go out in the sun.
