Here I lay on my bed at night
Thinking of you as I turn out the light
Holding a pillow and counting sheep
Wishing it was you as I fall asleep.
Dreaming of you my heart does ache
Without your love, surely it would break.
Content inside I fall asleep snoring
Waking to a vision of you in the morning.
Your lips that touch me with a kiss.
The love in your lips is what I miss.
Without you I'd surely perish.
It's the time we spend that I do so cherish.
I'm so happy your love is real
That I try to show you how much I feel.
The heart once mine now belongs to you.
There is no doubt in the things I do.

Structure is very different.
Structure is very different. Heroic sonnet (18 lines). (Probably meant to be a traditional sonnet and I just fucked up!) Don't use rhyme too much, but when I do it is usually in a sonnet (my favorite classical structure). Also when writing music I use it alot (too much). Really love half-rhymes and like to use them whenever possible. Thank you again for your kindness!
