Coco's fable

One morning like any other a beautiful dog named coco wakes up and the first thing she does is jump to her owner’s bed demanding her attention. The owner tired from her hard work makes an effort to wake up and takes Coco for a walk. Coco happy by getting her attention, wagging her tail gets dressed up by her owner and goes out to the park. Coco looked gorgeous with her pink bow that matched her boastful dress. She walked as she was passing through a red carpet with her little head held up high feeling like a princess but in an selfish way and showing off her beautiful outfit to the other dogs in the park. She was so into herself that she ignored every dog that invited her to play just because she could get her dress dirty. Coco’s owner was talking to some friend she met there, meanwhile a soccer ball with mud hits Coco getting mud allover her dress. Coco got really mad and frustrated by this and made a huge drama over it. Then a mouse showed up by her side and presented himself to Coco and he asked her why she wouldn’t play with anyone and that what was the point of going out to the park and not having fun. The mouse kept talking and saying that the whole point in living is to leave a mark behind at the end, to simply enjoy the wonderful things God gave them. But she was just ignoring everything the mouse was talking about. Coco kept complaining about how it was a new dress and that she didn’t look pretty anymore. Suddenly a group of dogs arrive to the park, which coco had never seen. These dogs are dress just like her, with bows and dresses, vest and little accessories. Coco can’t believe what her eyes see, finally a group of dogs that understand her. “Finally someone from my level”, says Coco to herself, but loud enough so the mouse could listen. “And they aren’t playing!” She fixes her hair, adjusts her bow and with her head held up really high starts walking. She confident walks to them; in the same princess way she always does. Once she pass near them, she notices that they not even saw her. Full of hope, she walks in front of them again, this time making her best effort to impress them, to get their attention. When she gets to the other side, she looks at them to see if this time they saw her, but nothing! It is like if Coco were a ghost! Decided to talk with the dogs, Coco walks directly to them. “Hi!, I’m Coco” she says to them. “I had never seen you guys in the park before. I’m so glad to finally meet someone from my level “. “From your level you said? “one of the dogs says, almost laughing. “Look at you, all filled with mud,” another says. “Yes! You probably must being playing with the common dogs” continue another. “No…. I wasn’t…. “ tries Coco to say, but another dog interrupt her “ And look guys, the poor thing is wearing a dress from the last season”. Coco ashamed of herself cries and runs away from them. The mouse, who has seen everything, goes and talks with Coco. Disconsolate Coco cries, and asks him why are they so mean. “I just wanted to be friends” says Coco. “Just like the “common” dogs who wanted to play with you” says the mouse.

I enjoyed this little ride

I enjoyed this little ride through the dog park. By the way, I think ther's a typo in the second to last line. Says "meant" I think it is supposed to say "mean", right?
