American Soldier

I shed blood and sweat for a country

emotional for liberty...

We fight for peace abusing the rights

of the world--

I inflict pain upon civilians of other

countries calling them acts of justice...

Under the stars in the desert nights

I cry for my family, my wife and children--

When I awake my lament becomes rage,

with my armory and bullets of fury

I kill the enemy; between them

innocent voices and faces...

I realize this war is not for peace or liberty

but resources, petroleum "

the black gold of the world,' Opium war--

A global humanitarian cost...

Dishonored, full of disgrace, or simply tired

of living and fighting for injustice,

soldiers many of them friends

take their life away for their acts of

global terrorism upon the third world...

"Look Mother, look Father I became

everything I could be for the American army."...

"I may or may not return home, and if I

return this war will never cease. When I

rest, I wake in a cold sweat and

tremor...If I die in battle a citizen of this

country I will be...

"Mother and Father don't

cry because I've come home without arms,

cry because I'm a veteran of war...

an American Soldier...

American Soldier

I can see where you're coming from here. Political pressures to achieve ultimate goals. No matter what the consequence. We have to live with the aftermath of our actions, and ultimately bcome one of a nations forgotten children, a casualty of war.

Paratrooper's don't die........ they go to Hell and regroup!!!
