"Why was our heart placed on the left?"

I kept asking myself all night.

Then you answered not in bereft,

“That’s because it’s not always right.”

Sometimes we choose the crazy path,

and for love, we would always fight.

Often our hearts will be in wrath;

“That’s because it’s not always right.”

Feelings are often sacrificed

for a love we cannot ignite,

but our hearts hold on to the lies:

“That’s because it’s not always right.”
