I guess she’s too spunky
But she looks like a real lady
Strutting those long legs gracefully.
Look how she looks
Like a princess by day
Maybe by night, she’s a little slutty
Or funny, witty or maybe kinky.
Oh well, high heeled lady,
You are such a mystery.

What a balancing act very high heels are, and they are so not good for your feet. I wonder how they came to represent "sexy" or a compliment to long legs?? Liked your poem, it certainly makes one pause and think about what we wear and do in the name of "fashion". Well written.

:) I agree! high heels I use to get them, they use to make sense, I even wore them...but now I look at them and wonder why is she doing that to herself! surely sexy is confidance and who you are not how well you dress your feet and show off your legs?

When I was in highschool, I wore them practically every day. Along with makeup and teased up hair. (the 80's need I say more?) But I just can't bring myself to do any of it anymore. Occassionally, a low heal and some mascara... Very occassionally. I have to admit though, a pair of heals does make the butt and legs look good. ;)
