If there was no tomorrow,
and the heavenly sun failed to rise,
if life was consumed,
by darkness and gloom,
would you weep for daylights’ demise?
If there was no tomorrow,
how would you spend the last day?
Wallowing in grief,
or sheer disbelief
while brief precious time ticked away?
If there was no tomorrow,
would you spend your last day in repent?
Perhaps its too late,
to change destined fate,
would heavens rise turn to descent?
If there was no tomorrow,
and the heavenly sun failed to rise,
could you honestly say,
you lived out that day,
prepared for the daylights demise?
Kenneth, I loved your poem it was so poignant and truthful.
I will be sure to come back and read somemore.
