You want me, but you don't.

Love me, but just can't say

Think I am so awesome,

yet you'll just toss me away.

You take me to the highest heights.

and then you knock me down.

Forever in my presence--

and then, you're not around,

At times you take my mournful heart

and heal it of the hurt.

But when you feel the need to leave,

you'll drop it in the dirt.

I don't want to go away

This action of your choosing.

Is this the way it has to be?

Your friendship, I'll be losing?

Why can't you just walk the line?

Why must I  pay the price?

My feelings I must hide away.
