Once upon a time in a far away kingdom, there were the family of lions, tigers, zebras, giraffes, and many more animals. One day the family of lions received a letter that the world would come to an end. This letter said:
My dearest friends,
I have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that the world will come to an end. But the good news is that you have five days left to plan your salvation, this means to collect food, announced the whole kingdom, take care of the little ones, and to offer a good bye banquet to the kingdom the night before Africa collides, else something worst was going to happen.
Best of luck may the odds be ever in your favor.
The day after the letter, the lion king decided to tell the whole lion family what had happened the day before, but insisted to keep it in a secret and to not tell anyone but the family of lions. The lion king was a selfish animal and thought that this disaster was actually a good thing since after this disaster they were going to have the whole kingdom for themselves. The second day the lionesses were collecting food, but noticed that they only ate zebras, so they decided to tell this to the lion king, the lion king decided to also tell the zebras about the disaster, so that they could have food for themselves. The third day was a disaster, there was a huge earthquake, then a thunderstorm and tornado, and to finish this day the Kilimanjaro erupted. The tigers, and giraffes were curious about what was happening since it was supposed to be a sunny season, so they started question themselves. The fourth day the baby lion told his father that in school he had learned about a man named Noe, who saved the world by building an arc and placing every single animal in it. The lion king thought it was a good idea and decided to build an arc to save his family. Later that day the lions received their guests, from tigers to giraffes, jaguars and hippos, they started to enjoy a wonderful banquet. They were all one big happy family. After everything was done, and the guests had left but the zebras, the lion king told them that the arc was going to set sail at 8 a.m. the next day. The fifth day had come, the zebras and lions were on the arc, when the leader of the zebras decided to ask the lion king why were they the only animals invited he replied, “because you are our only food”, the zebra king replied, “But what are we going to eat then?” the lion king didn’t think about this and they were half way in the middle of the sea. The zebras were undernourished so the lions slowly started to starve, so it came to point in which they had no food. And they DIED.
Moral:
Don’t think only about yourself, think also about others and you’ll be all right.
I like the story, its well
I like the story, its well thought out and has a great underlying moral. I thought it was a kid's story at first but I was wrong :)
