R.I.P Grandma
As she lay there resting, breathing in and out. It looked so tough for her. I stood there wishing she would open her eye's and see the family together, hoping and praying she would get better.
When the doctor walked in and broke the news that she would be leaving us by nights end, It broke our hearts.
She cant be going away, Not this soon. But through all the pain, I think it was best. So I leaned in and told her I love her and may god protect her!
Not to our surprise she went through the night maybe struggling but she made it through another day. She was a fighter and never gave up. Until it was time.
This is my Grandma who went through this pain.Having to live through life support, the final two weeks of her life. But how glad I am!
I got to tell her I loved her one last time. She smiled! I know she couldnt say a word but through her eye's I knew she loved me too!
I know its going to be hard without her kind heart in this life of mine but i know she's watching every second from up above! With Grandpa!
So I'm going 2 try my hardest to make her proud! I know she's looking down smiling, she's in a better place now without a doubt!
my condolences on your loss. Your grandma sounded like a wonderful woman..
