HUMAN

There's none so blind as one who will not see,

Nor so deaf as one who will not hear.

Worse than these, is one whose soul is dead.

He can not feel.

Which is more important...

Brain or heart?

Do they both play a part?

What good is thinking without feelings?

By ignoring pain and suffering

We cut off joy and pleasure;

By suffering great sorrow

We know intense joy;

Through knowing pain

Recognize ecstasy of pleasure.

To be truly human

We must acknowledge our emotions,

Understand, respond,

Or be eternally damned.
