There is nothing harder than saying goodbye.

When you do, a piece of your heart starts to cry

For the emptiness it is feeling inside.

It is something too difficult to abide.

Our relationship has veered in the wrong direction

It is now only causing us pain and rejection.

I love you more than you want, so I'll leave.

Forever will this cause my heart to grieve.

I desired more than you were able to give.

So now without you I must live.

While it isn't something I want, it's true,

I feel it's the best thing, but so hard to do.

Goodbye my sweet angel, goodbye.

This hurts so much, I think I'll die.
