i dream of floating
across the front lawn
in the long jump in the olympics
thinking, oh when shall i come down
floating anywhere, everywhere
in my dreams, yet so real
when i wake, i still have this feel
i still think i can fly
floating to far distant lands
to see all sights from above
peace, flowing love, they can see me
but they don't see me at all
which is fine, as they can't hurt me
or touch me, this way
there is not even a thought of that now
i'm just floating, and seeing it all
loving -- though i dare not intertwine
with the dreams of my love
overwhelming, but scary
what if she does not want me there
maybe such thoughts, such dreams
would be too much to bear
though anywhere else... i can go
anywhere
I love to this poem! It so reminded me of dreams that I have had my whole life. If I could articulate my flying dreams, floating dreams, they would be amazing tales. I must say, you have inspired me. Bless you for sharing. Patricia Hermes

It's a fine feeling to be free to just be, but also important that we are allowed to "see" into what other's are and feel and have to share.
There is no stopping you. You've done it again, so now I know it wasn't a blunder. This is you one of the great. I love this one too. Thanks for sharing your writing. Doris
