It's been a while since I saw you here.

On a night like this,

where I could shed a tear.

Out alone in the dark I saw your light.

Wanting to move the Earth,

to see all of you in my sight.

I didn't know what this could mean.

My troubles vanished,

in this mystical scene.

The sun came out and shined so bright.

With a grand smile,

I arose and bid you a goodnight.

It's been a while since I met you here.

On a night like this,

where I might shed a tear.

My body lay still on the mist of a lawn.

My darkest hour,

Was truly before the dawn.

But again I met you in the sky.

A strange feeling,

in my heart I could not deny.

The sun came out and shined so bright.

With a growing affinity.

I arose and bid you a goodnight.

It's been a while since I loved you here.

On a night like this,

where I can't shed a tear.

I didn't care for your imperfections.

My heart had scars too,

in all different directions.

Just promise to love me was all I could ask.

I swore to protect you,

how I had taken a fool's task.

The sun came out and shined so bright.

With a wary eye,

I arose and bid you a goodnight.

It's been a while since I lost you here.

On a night like tonight,

where I will shed a tear.

These thoughts are relentless in my head.

Even in my sleep,

I toss and turn in my bed.

There is pain in life and pain in lie.

I'm tired of fighting,

Can't I choose just to die?

The sun will come out and I will lose you soon.

With a lost soul,

I'll arise and bid you a goodnight moon.
