So dull, so hurt, so torn

Crying next to you while feeling so ignored

So tonight I'll make a vow

To be silent in my thoughts

To sleep alone beside you

In my room, I feel so forgot

Your breathing, sleep so softly

While I shed a single tear

Not because I am alone tonight

But because I am alone with you here



You say that there are no feelings

About what you feel for me

Does nothing we do mean anything?

I guess that speaks to how we'll be

When summer comes, with silence

You'll blow my candle out
