This one goes out to a girl I know

Someone who has been around a while

Always there when I need her most

What else are friends for?



She never judges

Before she knows

Quite a listener

Quite a friend

Never let this friendship end



Dee Dee laughs

Dee Dee cries

When Dee Dee's sad...

So am I

I've been told hopes

I've known dreams

She even tells me all the in-betweens



Quite a good friend

This Dee Dee is

So good that I wrote her this here poem

All she wants is a good life

She loves her mom

And she will...forever on



Just like me,

She hurts too

Just like her,

I help her too



Together we can make one great pair

Whenever we need a helping share

I must admit, this is hard to write

I will not quit or give up from spite

I am used to writing about myself

I should start writing for someone else



I write this long,

I write this true

Deester I'd do almost anything for you

Yet again, isn't that what friends are for?

You need help, knock on my door



It's now time to come to an end

Our fairy-tale friendship is all but pretend

For my every broken heart, she'd been there to mend

My Deester here makes one great friend!
