I have forgotten the past

I knew it would never last

It jumped around

In the back of my head

But now I’ve found

The reason I’m not dead



Its time to start again

Don’t look back and wonder why

Look forward, make amends

Keep walking ahead and close your eyes



It’ll all be there in the end

I’ll just be glad you were my friend

Ya helped me through the tough times

Ya told me not to cross the bad lines



You will always be there

In the back of my head

You thought me to care

And I’ll remember what you said



You said;

Do YOU

Remember the times

When you were young

Remember the times

When you were screwed up and wrong

Remember the times

When ya didn’t even give a care

Don’t do it again

I will always be there



So now I’m moving on

And you are long gone

Does that mean you lied to me?

That everything ay said - would never be?



If you came back one day and I cried

Would you be here- by my side?

Would you forget then things you said?

I bet you’ll remember if one day- I wind up dead
