The way things are

And the way they were

They are so different

They don’t live in harmony

One’s about the friends

One’s about where to re-begin

There is nothing you can do

Your life is so screwed

And its time you start over again.

Start from the end and re-begin

You can do it

I can too

It’s not in what you think

It’s in that you do

Just forget about the times when you thought all was gone

Just forget it all and just move on



I am just getting started

Now the way things were and the way that are have parted

Into another dimension

One without any tension

Nothing to pull you here

Or to push you there

No more weeping in despair

They will just laugh and stare

I mean come on, its not like they care

Well I am just getting started again.

What are you going to do?

All the people here laughing at you

Is this what you thought it would be?

People laughing, staring so unconsciously

Get used to it

Cuz it won’t change

The world still goes around and round

But nothing will ever change

Except for the money you give and give

And you people take and take

They count it all back

Then say OOPS after a mistake

That’s the only change you will ever get

If ya don’t stand up straight

So stop laughing at me,

Cuz I am tryin to re-begin
