So today was another day

Just like any other day

Fell in love, broke down walls

Then I got hurt

Found out lies weren't nearly as mistaken

Live with ties coming loose again

Time to break down



Words aren't as mistaken as promises I made

To myself, the ones I said

When I was depressed

Time isn't as precious, just a beautiful face

It's yours, the life you lead

You make me feel different



Call me up when you feel the need to feel special

Tell me to meet you when you're feeling sad

I can't promise to talk but know that I'll listen

I can no longer breathe a breath but know that I will live another day



So today was just a day

Kind of like yesterday

The time I saw your precious face

I know this place is somewhat forbidden

I know you have other plans that you have already made



But still I want you to know:

Call me up when you feel the need to feel special

Tell me to meet you when you're feeling sad
