In spite of progress

Life without essence only flesh

Thus drained of are feelings and perceptions
Sacrifice, affection, love, and concern.

I am embracing the quality of thought behind this piece- very much an echo of beliefs of mine, as well- I love how the last line reads, tieing it up nicely, word selection prime :-) nice!
