Work or rest, tour or feast
Basic realities, hornet’s nest.
Parent, child, home or office
It’s the same mess,
“I am super -- you are less.”
Crack a joke, cartoon; clown around
Underplay, play, pull others down.
Backbite hurt, character assassinate
Rob the other of honour
Insults humiliate.
Doctors, engineers, lawyers, geologists,
Workers, nurses and specialists; suffer intense
Without an iota of bliss.
Multiple stresses
Reaction no less, than epileptic fits.
What could be the cause?
What has gone wrong?
What’s this toxic gas in the air that floats?
It’s very important, the truth we all must know
Facts; Able to guard and use, the correct antidotes.
Hi again loved your poem makes alot of sense to me being open minded like yourself and being apart of peace makes even more sense very well written and thankyou for your critique on losing it i'll be writing some more soon although i am waiting for our poetry book to be published.
Something to think about for yoursef too cheers shell trees...
Well, I was doing yard work this weekend
and it suddendly occured to me that my lawn-mower
can constituted as a "weapon of Grass destruction"
LOL
Seriously, the weapon of mass destruction we should
most fear is that attitude of selfish self-indulgence
me-isms and patriotic national pride, which drives us and
which you've made us aware of in your poem:
"I am super -- you are less."
....
Underplay, play, pull other's down.
Backbite hurt, character assassinate
Rob the other of honour
Insult humiliate."
Keep writinting - Stay vigilent.
Weapons of Mass destruction. I see this in the workplace as gossip. The tearing apart one person to increase ones own power. Plotting and coniving to bring them down. So you see WMD extends from the lowest levels of humanity to nations and even broader to religious sects and ideals.
Thought provoking. Where there be two joined together, they are probably bad mouthing a third.
Hugs and Peace
