As burden.
Generation gap
Mentality problem
To get old is no fault
Of "Old fools?"
How does it hurt?
To say, "Wise old man"
Imagine
Calling the old father, "Old sack" Absurd.
A bit of respect, a kind word, is that sick? Come on!
Those were the days of his many sacrifices.
"Successful loss" utters the squeaky voice in rags
Prosperity without a conscience. Normal!
"Some sense in life, Gentlemen."
Our greatest treasures are our old. So much history is lost because our youth don't wheedle the life stories out of the elders to pass down to the young. So much knowledge laid waste because they have reached "retirement". Retirement doesn't mean not having anything left to contribute, it means slowing down and we should tell our historys to our young so the family history will not be lost but passed generation to generation.

Disrespect of the elderly is something
that God dispises. The young with their
delusions of invincible imortality -
give no thought to the possiblility of
one day growing old. Time has wings
and soon all such sins like birds come
home to roost and pick at the bones.
