Outrageous

Insane; His claim --

Columbus never discovered America

nor did Captain Cook; Australia.

How ignorant, this man. He is saying, "There isn't new nation

But new ordinance that bring in new markings

Not necessarily, always to everyone's liking."

"But to at least the majority

and the majority consist of fools,"

saying it loud, in a single breath.

Contradicting; usual myths

of invasions conquest.

Challenging;

The brushing off by few;

Works as only epics;

Imagination without facts to

substantiate mythical as real;

Coming from foolish Quacks.

What a pity! The man insane

How silly? The silly point

of game; Cricket;

Historical

team works;

Win.

Talk mad

Crazy red eyed

Bullfight. Torero attack

Silent Pete, voice only to be heard

on radio, charity ball that roll --

Herd instinct motivate; Plots

not of land; that house

men women

children

in harmony

but psycho-thrillers.

Movies, from jerks, top hits.

Fly over the heads of the Ku Klux

Clan; Cuckoo's nest; Comfort.

"Hey! Are you joking?"

"No?"

"Ramblings"

The madman

without cue

answered piqued

taking a mirror in hand

screamed well done

well done.

Stupid

madman, in rags

put him behind bars

to make him understand

the taste of freedom

he enjoys because

of us

today.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Thus spoke the madman. He had asked further, Was America and Australia devoid of human race? And said, "Ok, I give some points, as credits to the brave sailors who reached the continents for a rediscovery but that does not mean wipe out history made before them. Dismiss the same as imaginative stories, myths."
"Well, they are welcome, those who want to pursue ignorance, it's their choice, who cares for propaganda!" The madman made a lot of noise holding a mirror in hand. I did find him amusing in broad daylight.

Columbus and Cook just lead the invasion. Something can't be discovered if it is inhabited. It would be the height of arrogance to land on mars and find its inhabitants and boldly plant our flag and say "I take this land and planet in the name of earth." Might doesn't make right, but might can be made to set things right. The mad man is not crazy...just frustrated.

Hugs and Peace.

Ernest Bevans's picture

This man is as all men are:
Dominator and Dominiatrix
In search of but a few
glorious things;
fame and fortune - both
being the foundations of power.

His history is the history of
the pharohs, who in succesion
remove's the stories of their
predissesor in order to declare
themselves a God.

Your poem conveys a true knowledge
of history and it's tainted origins.

Keep Writing - Keep the faith.
