Compassionate human, charity begin
Preserve forest. The animal kingdom--
Audacious wildlife portray
Only an attempt though, satellite display.
Precise digital device or satirise?
Never mind, back to business--
Stories made, united players
Please cynics, no accusations
Nor any internecine!
Quadruped quadraphonic
Qualifiers quantum leaps
Victim quibbles and dies.
On ground; the marvellous zebra stripes
The proud; spotted coat leopard did run a win.
Lions share secured with roar
Growl the jackal, fox and wolves--
The hungry hyena behind the hydrangea
Shrilly vultures shriek, tear the atmosphere.
Impossible greed carnivorous compatriots --
Jungle hologram -- Russet, copper, verdigris earth,
Under saffron, orange, vermilion
Blue, sashay wind, variegated arbitrator miscible true.
I love Africa. Their people, animals, nature, everything is equisitely beautiful. You captured it well. Thanks!
Ms Gupta,
You have such a unique way with the english language one could swear you are an English Scholar. This one reminds me of the same passion I have when I wrote "The Human Zoo" Keep on writing you are a breath of fresh air.
Thanks

This poem is very good and very well-written. I'm not sure I understand exactly what it means but I like the feeling of it. You use a lot of long and uncommon words, which is good but also makes it a tad tricky to get the full meaning out of it, at least for me.
Man is so civilized, why is that man is the only animal that kills its own. Kills its unborn young and justify it by saying the mother must have a choice (power over her body).
The animal kingdom is the survival of the fittest, but for man it is who has the power.
Sad.

This is a very intense piece. If it wasn't that I now know you thought my "Jungle Magic" to be a political statement I don't think I would have understood what you are saying it this piece. A very bold political statement.
