Win the love of life
How can it be the reason to smile?
Me and my soul the other side of the wall
Ambition turning tides.
Love and loyalty
surviving the reprieve
for a moment
Silenced for life.
Games we play
searching someday
the elusive dream.
The unending search
Silent tears
lost on the crossroads.
Story of a stone--
Silence
says it all--
Life's eternal
Windfall.
I say time and time again...
The noise we hear in the thoroughfare and in the streets
the blinding light - the warm wooly darkness of night;
The falling of a leaf against the skin, the tracing touch
of warm fingers along the cool slips of marble...
Love is it's own domain. It covers the world under
it's glass dome -- for this very reason we never find
that which we search for. Because we are always in
love's presence and the moment we embark on a pilgrimage
to search for love, it is at that moment we move away
from it. We find love only when we let ourselves be found.
I enjoyed this poem.
Keep writing - Keep the faith and let love be it's own
reward and it's own admission and it's own ambition.
