Tempo Cadenza

Apprehension

Want to walk through life

I don't want to run

Neither do I want to slow down

Please don't rob the ground

From under my feet,

as I need

to stand

To be in the straight, correct and right.

However, that does not make me one

who can

only think

Pure provincial

or be a Nazi national.

Author's Notes/Comments:

To enjoy the simple has become a luxury or a vice. One has to vouch innocence hung on the same.

We all need to slow down, by rushing around so much there is so much we overlook and miss out on because we are so focused on the rut we are in. Thought provoking.

Oh btw, did you notice that the centered poem looks like a mushroom cloud?

Peace be with you.
