I come as I am

to take hold of your hand

to love you with all of me

so deep inside my heart

I pray you will unfold

all that keeps us apart.



I come as I am

needing and wanting to be cleansed

hoping you will  change the things within

wanting to be close,but falling on my face

I pray you help me win this race.



I come as I am

with shattered dreams to face

I pray this day Lord,

that I  can feel your warm embrace.



Today, I come as I am!
