You can have all the right words,

All the questions that might get you somewhere,

No answers to fall back on,

And no truth seen in sight anywhere.



You can be witty, and smart,

But hold an emptiness inside.

You can be so open and honest,

But still be withdrawn, and you hide.



You can have all of the looks,

The style, the whole deal.

It's possible to be everything all in one,

But still need that something that's more real...
