My Home

Folder:
Gotta have FAITH

Lord, help me to feel happy and grateful

whenever I come home.

Help me to feel love, instead of fear.

To focus on our strengths in recognition

of our weaknesses,

To count our blessings and learn

from our failures,

To look at my brothers not with hate

but with understanding.

To accept my mistakes and move on.

To laugh my heart out

when it is time to laugh,

And have a good cry when I need to.

To see things as You see them,

To keep on living for Your purpose:

even in my weakness,

in my limitations,

in my doubts,

in my worries,

in my fears.

Teach me to trust in You.

When all else fail, I still will survive.

For to You, my Refuge, I run,

In You I belong.

Beyond everyone and everything,

You are my Home.
