Monalisa Smile

This woman has awakened.

Stared at the mirror,

A tear fell as she saw the truth.

What she did and what she has become.

She faintly smiles…

She searched the world to find what’s missing.

Fought for everything.

Fell, stood and ran everywhere.

Found it all except for love and herself.

For all her efforts, she smiled…

The making of a lonely heroine.

Who learned to be alone, will she ever die one?

What a tragic story!!!

Could she ever save herself from this misery?

No reason to smile- it’s not funny.

And this woman said that she was happy.

Look at her mirror,

Do you see her smile?

Beautiful…but is it real?

Tell me, is it real?

This woman has awakened.

From a life lived in a dream.

Set her feet on the floor, left her bed,

Went out of the door where reality awaits her.

And tomorrow…this woman will smile.

For a tragic story with a surprising twist.

For a life lived in the reality of love.

A genuine smile from her heart to her lips

To touch and lift anybody’s soul.

This woman will smile a “Mona Lisa smile” no more.
