Isn’t it funny that we ended up this way?



I can still remember the words you used to say



It’s always- “take care” and “I love you still”,



You said, nothing can express “the way how you feel”







Every night I often think of you,



Wondering if you are thinking of me too…



My heart keeps beating, beating so fast…



Afraid that you can’t wait and the feelings never last







Day after day you keep asking me:



What’s my decision- “THEN LET IT BE!”



I wanted to say “Yes”, but there’s something in me



That says “No Jerlin, you’re not yet ready”







So I said, “Please keep on waiting”



I have to be sure about my feelings



I know you’ve waited, waited for so long…



But I didn’t bother, I knew I was wrong…







Days passed by and the time I feared came



The feelings already faded, it’s not yet the same



It’s when I realized – I LOVE YOU SO…



I tried to keep it in and then, let you go.







Now I’m here…still thinking



O sure! My heart isn’t still aching!!!



I just realized, being lovers for us is not worth having,



But having you as my BUDDY is what worth living!!!
