Eviscerated.

Something within me shattered,
and as it ripped through my frail body it fractured three ribs just to get to my breaking heart.
My heart. Where you once lived,
has ceased to survive.
There was something about you..so beautiful, so..exquisite.
Flaws were masked by perfect hands and brilliant eyes,
your warm, sweet voice wrapped itself around me like the early sunlight in Spring.
you were so unobtainable, and yet you called me yours.
In that moment I was the happiest I will ever be,
and in that very moment I gave you what was most precious to me.
You smiled,
and just like that, the thunderclouds rolled in, and the lightning struck at my feet.
You smiled, and then you left me there,
captivated, and eviscerated.
