Last Night

Last night

As our lips touched,

We plunged,

Into a river of emotion,

Which lead to the ocean,

Where we swam in love,

We flew on the wings of doves.

Our bodies entwined,

As we drank from the overflowing cup of wine.

To your music I danced,

Intoxicated by your fragrance.

Secrets revealed as we undressed,

To each others need, we caressed.

You whispered into my ear,

A song I longed to hear.

My love for you I stated,

Sweet nectar from your flower I tasted.

Destined to be was last night,

When we held each other tight,

Each other's hearts we won,

When two became one.
