If I know I'll fail

Why do I try at all

Why do I climb up

When I'm bound to fall



If I know I can't win

Why do I still try

Why do I live

If I know I'll die



I must do my best

I must always try

I live each day

Because I'll die



I'll always climb up

Though I may fall

But I won't fail

If I live through it all
