At A Random, Forward, Vision Of Pyrgos

"O day that brings the earth back bring again
"That well swept town those towers and that island. . . ."
---Archibald MacLeish, "Conquistador," Book XV

Not by millenia, but vast millions of years:
they know love there, and and few of our familiar fears;
sun and some stars gone out---dark; yet, there that place has light.
It makes the senses reel and spin (I know mine did).
That huge tower, like the city on the hill, cannot be hid;
and is not lost in that unconstellated night.

This is good stuff ...

The poem feels consistent with your earlier jives .. and love the way you expanded on the small stanza without losing any meaning whatsoever ..

Great work !!!

Had penned something similar some time ago .. Would appreciate it if you could review the same . Lord only knows how much is left for us mortals to improve upon !! :)

Need a Good Read

I also await the title. I have this feeling that more improvment could be fatal, but I've always lived on the edge (smile). Greatness in writing lives here - Lady A
