Let me taste your soul with this kiss
Try to see if it's really warm like I imagined it
Just this once, will you hold me please
And let me feel your breath with these lips.
Kiss me sweetly like you would in a dream
The moment is so fragile it could disappear
Fluttering and nibbling like butterfly wings
The playful play of hearts that are wishing.
Kiss me with all the passion that you have
Tell me with your lips how much you need me
To never get enough with each breathless sigh
That this duel of fire may burn me with longing.
It really doesn't matter how you kiss me
But please do it with all your heart, sincerely
It may be now, or maybe not exactly, so till then
I'll hold my breath until that soul kiss moment.
Thanks for critiquing my stuff.I like the title to this one,and it's nicely written. My fave lines are "Fluttering and nibbling like butterfly wings
The playful play of hearts that are wishing."--that's cool, conjures up pretty images in the mind :-)and I love that playful play bit.I think you've managed to do well with this type of poem, usually they end up being too soppy,so well done.Keep it up,I've read alot of your stuff and you have bucket-loads of talent!
