Scene one, where everything begins
Palm in palm, running through the fields
The golden sun shines warm
As warm as the way you feel
Everything is kissed by the breeze
And the air smells of daffodils.
Scene two, with the blending of rain and dew
And through the veil of mist, I see only you
My hair is damp, and so is yours
But we aren’t cold
The fleeting refreshing downpour
Only made me want you more.
Scene three, where you slept beneath the trees
And the peaceful sounds reflected all my bliss
The flowers waved enticingly
Their elegance flowing true
But nothing compares to the beauty
Of simply watching you.
Scene four, where the morning fades to night
And the world is about to rest
But all our senses are alive
Without ever saying a word
You know what is in my heart
And softly, as you lay me down
I feel only your love.
Scenes, dreams, moments of our lives
Not captured on any film
But treasured in our hearts and minds
It is witnessed by the world
And all of the heavens
How we weaved love's dream
And never made it end.
