I dreamed about you

For the first time in so long

You called me your heart

Like you had never been gone

My feelings are calm

But they’re deep as the sea

I wished for you here 

And dreaming is fine

I can feel you in my heart

You still occupy my mind

But there’s a sadness inside

There’s a hunger to feed

You take up my attention

As much as I can give

It’s no way to love

It’s no way to live

But I’ll take what I can get

Just to have you with me

but I want you

to be free...
