@ 27.055 MHz: Ad Astra; A Roman Notary's Words In A. D. 139 Or So [XLIX]

One scrappy poet's words have suggested that

Hadrian prostituted Antinous

to other men for the purpose of watching

his lover being raped in various and

perverted postures.

What a slanderous

falsification of facts:  Hadrian and

always barefoot Antinous were fiercely

monogamous, in deep love; Antinous

gave Hadrian more joy than Sabina did.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Written with the utmost respect for Hadrian and Antinous as monogamous lovers.  I formatted the two stanzas in a way that they suggest two lovers prone and facing each other, perhaps in the afterglow of pleasurable intimacy. much as I would imagine Hadrian and Antinous.
