Yet [*/+/^] : 27.225 MHz, Some Final Measures; Poem On Philippians 1:6 And Romans 14:4

For Heaven, life on earth can become a getting ready:

the pathway sometimes smooth, even and steady,

and sometimes uphill, crooked, or even jagged;

and clothing for the journey---sometimes elegant, sometimes ragged.

But never without purpose:  this we must understand

despite what the false interrogator might insinuate or demand.

This, like elementary, middle, and high schools is a preparation

under various, and even sometimes unstable conditions,

for that final and lasting graduation

(and the most anticipated of transitions)

to that collegiate eternity of our souls' ultimate exultation

with all of the redeemed of the great congregation,

whose voices will praise the Lord with cosmic acclamation

endless in eternal delight and jubilation.

What stands out at this

What stands out at this particular reading is the fresh and apt nomenclature: "false interrogator" which to me is a contemporary summation of that which comes as an angel of light but truly is the accuser of the brethren.

here is poetry that doesn't always conform

A comment from you, sir, is

A comment from you, sir, is always a welcome event, so I am grateful that you visited and read the poem.  But, beyond that, I am grateful, also,  for your theologically shrewd reading of the poem.  In comments I have read from you over months, and perhaps years, I have come to believe that you are one of the most theologically well informed people with whom I have ever been privileged to communicate.  Yes, the false interrogator is both the accuser of the brethren and his local representative who happens to remind me of my spiritual flaws from time to time.

Again, thank you for the tremendous kindness of your visit and your written comment.
