Chin up sunshine
Smile
You may be surrounded with darkness right now
But that is only because it is nighttime
Just wait for the sun to rise
And if you can't wait for the sun to rise
Let the moon guide you
Look for the stars
Because there is a fire in your soul
And it cannot be put out
I know your mind is a forest
Filled with fearsome creatures and demons
So take that fire in your soul
And burn it down
Once the forest is gone you will see the sunlight
You will see yourself
Because that fire in your soul
Is actually the sun
And when it is nighttime for others
We look for you
You are the one who guides us
And I hope you see why that fire in you
Must not go out
Because even though you may not see the light within yourself
So many others can
And we need you
Burn down the forest
And you'll see it for yourself
beautiful
There's a darkness in your words that I can ascribe to. thank you for sharing
The darkness outside is not so frightening as the one inside. Behind knowing smiles and crocodile tears we hide our fears.
Being angry at someone is to give them power over you, but to forgive is to take away that power.
Thanks
THANK YOU
Fire good for the soil
I'm not for burning the forest. However we do live amongst burnt trees. And the sun does shine bright and the stars are at my knees.

Thanks
Thank you for your feedback. Somtimes all we can do is burn down the forest though. Get rid of of the things that terrify us. This poem is about Mental health and suicide. If you haven't been through mental health issues you may not understand.
Mental health
Oh, I am well versed in my own psyche issues. It's not easy to let things go either. Fire is good for the soul. Burn the baggage is a good idea. Carrying it around is just...heavy and haunting. I appreciated reading your poem. Thank you for sharing.

This is very well thought
This is very well thought out. I love the mental imagery it gave me. Good work, and also very true.
Thanks
Thank You. Hopefully as I grow out of my teenage years I can improve even more
