Scared little tadpole
At the bottom of a sad pond
I heard your plea
Held my nose and dove in
I savored the brief weightlessness
Encompassed in shallow love
the same sky peered down at us
Mothers called their children off
You had little depth
The pond held fewer wonders
it’s once tranquil green turned my stomach
Sour little tadpole
At the bottom of a sad pond
You heard my plea
Grew legs and jumped out
I felt loneliness in the lotus
Encompassed in deep despair
Dreaming I’d drown in your arms
Regret
Naw, mistakes are human - I am good at forgiving me. Sad tad - awwwww.
