I am bookmarking this poem on my favorites on my PC. I have been reading poetry since 1973---fortyfour years as of next month. And this is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT poems I have ever read in all of that time. I am overwhelming by the amount of wisdom in such a few words. I have searched and searched for this resolution, as I said in my previous comment, for forty years.

This is profoundly true, and resolves something I have grappled with since i graduated high school fortyone years ago. I think in your poem I have found the answer that resolves some of the contradictions that have beset me in this particular issue.
