Message In a Bottle

For what we have written
all seems bleak
all seems unwinding as the time passes
Awakes as it does from its grave to yet take another

wanting that freedom so badly
the love last cast shadows upon my gleaming face
forsake me oh lord
please forgive me
grant me passage
grant me.. for I weap

Carry me softly into the locker
Carry me unspeaking in my dream
in my terror
Unwilling
unwanting
Scared
unprepared for the death defying leap I have befallen to

I speak unsettlingly to the waves
waves that carry the message through the drift

All is quiet
All..is lost.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Message In a Bottle - Jeremiah Pryse. Excuse me if this is not written in correct form. I focused on other things while writing this. How would you feel if you were a message in a bottle?

This is really good!

If were a message in a bottle,

I would feel "misplaced."

I enjoyed this,

and thank you for sharing.

Nice writing about a message in a bottle. I think I would feel bottled in.  You have used several good images in your poem.

Sincerity

Anyday I'd take sincerity over melodrama....message reads: Keep writing, you will discover how to externalize what you feel and create great imagery. Wecome to PP - keepin' it positive.  Sincere inside my own cryptic cynicism ~A~
