We’re so far apart, yet we’re close too,
Separated by people, and there’s nothing we can do

Your miles away, yet you’re right here,
But too hard to get to, yet you’re so near

We’re crowded by people, yet they can’t see,
How much I want to be with you, and you want to be with me

We’re pushed different ways, and forced apart,
Even though we both have each other’s heart

We long to be together, and one day it may true
But for now were far apart, until the day that I’m with you
