Alone
She stood alone hiding her pain
not even noticing the chill of the rain
Her missing piece drifted away
During the storm he could not stay
Yet she did not seek shelter nearby
Instead she stood in the puddles she cried
He did not return her to her home
He only watched her stand all alone
For he knew she stood by another before
Soon the rain began falling down more
She only wanted him to understand
In her eyes she saw no other man
Yet he was deceived and did not want to hear
her words causing his eyes to add to her tears
When the storm clouds would eventually fade
Another separation by mistake would be made
