Waves of colorful glass and china crashing
on your dirty countertop;
is as close to the ocean as you will ever come.
Collecting the shards and pieces is never like
picking up sea shells.
"I'm okay to settle for this." means a cabinet
full of broken dishes. Abandoned at sea.

I like it...the language is
I like it...the language is plain but the imagery speaks volumes. and I relate to the content.
