i guess i'm wondering if you miss me

i guess i don't understand how it got like this

i really thought i had found something

how is it now

that you are gone

i feel like it's the way life was

before i knew you

have i been replaced

or just set aside like one of those old toys

that you get bored with

but gain interest in later

i'm not going to give up though

maybe i'll just wait around

till you get sick of your new toys
