I Always Wondered

Lust, Love, & Lofty Confusion I always wondered what it would be like
To kiss your lips and touch your chest,
Feel your warmth on me closely pressed,
Taste your tongue and play with your hair,
Lay flat on top of you and lock eyes in an entracing stare,
Touch your cheeck just to know the feel
Kiss your neck to see if I have found your achilles' heel
Do all the things I have read in books,
Just to widen our passion from a puddle to a brook.
I want the nuances of your beard over my face,
Sharing our thoughts and dreams with minds in space,
Not a care in the world, only in the world we created,
An existence where a glance is all that has to be stated.
Where words begin to cheapen its meaning,
And we finally manifest love's physical gleaning.
Life doesn't suck.
It blows. At least if it sucked, it would take some of the crap away with it. Just sayin :p

Now, that, inspires a spark of something...
Stare into the sky
Tell me all your dreams
Gaze out into the night
Let thought become reality
And tell me everything
By saying nothing at all
Show me what you mean
So into love we fall
Let this space speak eternally
With no distance in between
With each breath let love in deep
With each touch and taste so sweet
Stare deep into my eyes
So I can show you're all I see
As we hold on to this night
With a hope to live this dream
Let me show you what you've been missing
As I hold you close to me
Let these thoughts in space be more than just a dream
So you can feel what real love means

Truly a beautiful poem. Such an airy feel, as if floating away on its cloud. The rhyme and meter is to perfection in this poem, and really lends itself well to the flow and airy-ness of it. It takes the reader to a very private, personal level of affection and the descriptions and imagery go hand in hand with the sensuality of the tone and usage of the lines and words contained within them. This really makes the mind come alive, which is one the most remarkable qualities of this beautifully sensual poem. Excellence!
