The mainstream news nowadays is nothing more than a big monkey circus. I was watching an old Benazir Bhutto interview on CNN IBN from 2006 – and it was a big monkey circus back then. The interviewing journalist was extremely rude and clearly had an agenda to discredit her. But she never rose to the bait – because she was a class act. First class. Well educated and very well spoken. This was the year before they assassinated her. But I’m always curious why they assassinate certain people – so I was listening to some of her interviews to understand what she was trying to accomplish. And she was trying to move Pakistan toward democracy and restore the power of democracy to the people and curb the corruption of the military dictatorship. In another interview, she also mentioned that Osama Bin Laden had been killed in 2001. And wouldn’t you know – the entire seal team six that was involved in the Osama Bin Laden operation of 2011 are all dead too. They all went down in an old Vietnam War era helicopter. No one left to tell the truth now. Isn’t that convenient. But did they talk about that on the news? Fuck no. It’s all a big monkey circus.

What is presented as news? More control over what can be posted anywhere on the net, in the including alternate fact/theory. (Open ended industry - anything goes as the price of free press). I didnt know the seal team all died. Interesting. Hard career - news reporting. The unprepared reader can not separate the cancer from the healthy tissue. Circus? You bet! I approach news as developing - not pat factual - evolving and all I know is that something happened - what is to be unveiled later or not. - slc

A hreat way to look at it... most in politics are in it as plants or for themselves. Its a rare few who are always ejected with some obscure ancient scandal that seem to be the ones who almost make a difference like all those 70 leading holistic doctors saving 1000's of patients all dead in 18 months... hmmmn... id like to talk to this man with proof i have one eye trained on fact and the other on fantasy. Sometimes I confuse the two. ;)
